This two day course will cover the theory and practical use of diode lasers in surgery of the equine upper repiratory tract and skin.

Lectures will cover the principles of laser surgery, its clinical applications in horses and the practical care and use of the diode laser.  The diagnostic work-up of URT cases and case selection for laser surgery will also be covered.

Practical sessions will include cadaver surgery of the equine heads, where delegates will have an opportunity to perform procedures such as vocal cordectomy and resection of the ryepiglottic folds and case-based studies led by the course tutors.

Course numbers will be restriced and registration will include course dinner on the 10th March.
