The safe, effective and flixible laser operates at the ideal wavelength for soft tissue procedures thereby reducing collateral damage and significantly speeding up recovery time.

 

EV Veterinary has been Biolitec's exclusive distributor for the past two years serving the equine and more recently the small animal veterinary market.  Biolitec controls both the production on the laser and fibre optics thus maintaing high quality standards for every component.

 

All veterinary lasers are not created equal.  Laser energy emitted at different wavelengths produce different effects on tissue due to specific water absorption characteristics.  For soft tissue procedures and ideal amount of absortion is necessary in water (due to its very high content at cellular level) and haemoglobin/oxy-haemoglobin to both cut and coagulate well. Without the absorption, a laser can

only cut and coagulate through a thermal effect, similar to electrocautery.  The result is collateral tissue damage, pain, swelling and post-operative discomfort. Optimal absorption in water and haemoglobin.  This is achieved at 908nm with Biolitec's 980 diode laser which operates optically and not thermally.

 

 

The Cerelas 30W, 980nm diode laser system is compatible with the EV Endoscopy system, thereby eliminating the risk of white out issues.
